In the early 1960s, Jean Diot created the champagne that would bear his name. Over the years he developed a family business that has retained its values and traditions. In 1998 his children took over the management of the Vineyard at Vinay near Epernay and continued to develop champagne wines, meticulous working on the vines planted on the southern slopes of Epernay and the Marne Valley. Now, the current generation Jean Paul produces lively wines of Champagne and also is the contributing wine maker for the boutique Artéis and Co. project.
